    I once saw 'Hornypervert1@ whateverit was.com' on a CV.

He didn't get called for interview

Wow on a CV that's just careless. This is a whole different thread but quite common with the work experience request e-mails I get.

The ones I remember of the top of my head are: footballcasual@, iluvtoblow@, hotcindy@ and a few that are less offensive but still not giving a good impression - ihateskool@, britneysbrothersucks@, partydude@

I am very tempted to reply like this

Dear hotcindy, but I have resisted the temptation so far.

Why thank you, I do enjoy some-one questioning my integrity.
I don't see that as a personal attack on your integrity, rather a valid viewpoint.

You had a process, she failed the first step of it miserably. Someone else who followed it but didn't fill in the form very well wouldn't have got any further. Similarly, someone who got to an interview but didn't do very well on the day wouldn't be able to call up and say "mind if we disregard that interview and arrange another one as I was a bit hungover?". You've compromised your process, moreso by saying you won't take previous correspondence into consideration.

Perhaps would have been better to give feedback, say we won't be considering you at this time, but feel free to apply for future opportunities.

I don't think that was the point that Denla was making though was it? She was really just saying that I would not do what I said and disregard the previous correspondence. I take your point about compromising the process, it's a fair point.
