I bought a paper shredder in Staples yesterday - £19.99 for a cross cut shredder. Anyway when I was paying for it the lovely chap told me don't use it continiously for more than 2 minutes as the motor burns out. He said it catches a lot of people out and when they return them they are not obliged to do anything as it does say in the instructions. If he hadn't pointed that out to me I would have used it for more than a couple of minutes continiously.
