Has anybody bought a car using the Autoebid website, and if so, what was your experience of the process. Good or bad..
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

    Yes.

It was very straightforward. The car arrived quickly, three weeks as opposed to the 3-6 month wait common for that model of car at the time.

The other thing I liked was that no money (apart from their fee) needed to be handed over before we got the car.

My wife also managed to sweet talk them into giving us a discount on the fee and also persuaded the supplying dealer to take her old banger in px. She's good like that.

    Yes...great deal and good service..
It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.

So how did they manage to source the car so quickly?

So how did they manage to source the car so quickly?

Because they contact virtually every dealer in the country and one had pre-ordered a car that exactly matched the spec we wanted. We just had to wait for it to be transported from the factory to the dealer.
