Non paying bidder

Hiya all,

Another question please! I have a non paying bidder, have messaged them twice and also opened an unpaid item case. Not had any response even though buyer has been having feedback left so has obviously been buying from other sellers.

What actually happens if I close the case? Does the buyer just get away with not paying? Am I not able to leave negative feedback anymore?

Thanks!

No the buyer does not get away with not paying, they get a strike and if they get 2 of those they will find themselves not able to bid on most of the things on ebay anymore presuming sellers set their preferences right. You can't leave neg feedback and shouldn't leave positive either. It doesn't help you much as you still have your item and no payment but if you follow the procedure correctly they won't be able to do it much longer.
