did mine years ago, they are quite expensive, each part costs £15 or £25 in test fee i think, so if u go for the whole basic package, there are 5 - 6 parts i think, plus the lessons fees, very expensive. some big companies have budget for staff development, maybe ask? local community adult learning?
sorry info may be wrong, cannot remember, my company paid for it and they tell me it will cost them £15-25 per test if i fail, maybe they just want to scare me..0 -
I work in local community adult education and costs are £25 registration for log book then £8 per module for modules 1 - 7 plus £10 registration for part 2 and another £8 for the Unit E module, plus whatever tuition costs are charged by individual colleges.0

I got mine free as I work for the NHS, other than through your employer or local college if you're on a low income I'm not sure where you could get it free.
However, if you want the manuals, I can email you them free! PM me your email addy if you want them, that goes for anyone else too ;-)GOD BLESS DURAN DURAN

This isn't free but if you are in Scotland and over 18 you can get £100 towards the cost ( £200 if you earn less than £15000 ) - http://www.ilascotland.org.uk/ILA+Homepage.htm0

Try contacting your Human Resources/IT department to see if they will set up something similar. Most employers do these kinds of courses nowadays. You might be able to do one for free if they do set one up for the employees of your company.0
