I'm talking about base layers here so your comment does not really apply. Plenty, plenty long enough and I am well over 6 ft.

    Um,well yes it does
So its a good idea to have a base layer that doesn't/may not cover a large section of your lower back?

I bought some Helly Hansen base layers a few months ago, only tried one on and as it was too big they have both been in my drawer ever since. I'd be happy to sell them to anyone if they're interested - still with tags. They were £12.99 each, size medium. Offers accepted!

(sorry if selling isn't allowed on here, if so I'll gladly delete)

I bought some base layer stuff off ebay. Was nice and cheap compared to things I have seen in shops. Works well. Keeps me at an even temperature. But have not tried it in very cold weather yet.
