MerryHill Parking Ticket - UKPC

Hi,
I received a Parking Fine in MerryHill Shopping Centre a couple of weeks ago for parking in a disabled spot for no longer than 10 minutes (still not justified, I know!).
The fine is from a company called UK Parking Control Ltd, based in Coventry.
Is this one I can just ignore or shall I pay it? The fine has gone up to £70 now and I just cannot afford to be paying that kind of money right now!
Please help!! Thanks.
Phillip.

As long as you are the registered keeper you are safe to ignore everything they send you. Legally they don't have much of a leg to stand on in enforcing this.
While we don't condone parking in disabled bays if you (or a passenger) are not, the legalities are that you have caused the landowner zero loss.Je Suis Cecil.0 -

Also, it is not a FINE.
Its just an invoice requesting payment.0
