Recently there were quite a few posts regarding wireless security. This link is a good source to explore for all interested in the subject. Also, some of the secondary links on that page are also worth following.

This link , describing new ways and tools for attacks on wireless nets, could be a good reading for a serious hobbist. Again, secondary links are worth exploring.

    Good Post, DVB. I guess the most important thing for non-techie people to know is that all wireless kit is shipped with all security turned OFF. There are lots of people out there running completely open networks without realising.
