I was hoping some one could give me advice if this is acceptable. I have booked a package holiday, but I only intend to use the flight but not the accommodation. Maybe some one has experience of doing this. Not sure which forum this should be in but feel free to move it.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hiya, done this with no problem. Just informed the rep and the hotel reception that I would not be checking into the hotel.

There have been quite a few people on here have done it, a few have checked into the hotel or told the rep, for peace of mind incase the home bound flight got cancelled, others have just walked out of the aiport and come back a week later for their flight. Either way, no probs were enountered.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

No problem whatsoever, But please inform the rep at the arrival airport, save them chasing all over looking for you and holding up a coach full of holiday makers.0
