Why cant I upload an image

I cant upload an image. The Permissions in my UserCP are all set to yes except These ones.

Allow HTML NoAllow Smilies Yes
Allow Code No Can Upload Images for Signature No Can Upload Animated GIF for Signature No I only wanted to upload a pictureto my signature, like most others have. Everything is so cramped, I cant select any formatting, not even in this post. All the buttons are visable but they are flat and dead. Please can someone help

I don't think anyone has images in their signature. Are you talking about an avatar?

If you are talking about something like my picture of "Beaker" from the muppets then it is an Avatar image you are uploading, not part of the signature. (Edit Avatar)

oops sorry, now I know what its called, Thanks

What happens if you type ": )" without the space?

Hi,

are you using the Post Reply button, or the Quick Reply?

You need Post Reply, for some of the other functions.

I am using the Post Reply button.
And this is what I get if I type ": )" without the space

But when I try to click on any of the smilies on the right of this box I am typing in just now, nothing happens.
I can see the smilies movng, but when I try to click on any of them, nothing happens.
Even the buttons to 'insert url' 'Align Center' etc., all of them are dead. There isnt even a font for me to select, that box is blank, as is the size of text box.

I am using Internerd Explorer, I just checked, I have Show Pictures and Play Animations ticked and enabled

I have been able to post fine on other sites. It seems to be here today that I am having probems. I just dont have a clue why.

Have a look on your USER CP again

At the bottom is a slection.

Make sure you have Standard Editor - Extra Formatting controls

I just checked that too, that is what the settings are at. 'Standard Editor - Extra Formatting controls'

Its still not working

code is OnHTML code is Off I still cant post any smilies or edit the font or size of text, Im stuck
