Amazing number of watchers.

Well I am not a big seller but I listed a number of items after a clearout. Amongst them is an old sony travel radio, I started at 99p thinking it might not sell.
But I have 27 watchers!

We have listings with 100's of watchers, although trying to convert them into customers isn't easy, even with 10% discount every once in a while.

It could just be 'others' with the same item, watching to see what you get for it
  • Well it ended with 38 watchers and sold for £41.
I thought it would go for under £5.
    Amazing.

I had 186 at the peak when I sold my car.

Only about 6 bidders in the end, plus a couple more that were blocked.

That's 27 people who also have a clock like that - and are curious how much you get.

So true, I do it myself.

Also had stuff selling with tons of watchers and it's sold for a weaker price than I thought, always a bit deflating when that happens.
  • But I just found out my wife paid £38 for it new 16 years ago! I thought electronic items lost their value after a few years!

I sold a Roberts Travel radio recently for more than I paid for it. It was 6-7 years old max, so nothing special, but he gave ravingly positive feedback too, so there must be something about them...
  • Well, I will definitely be trawling boot sales looking for them in the boxes under the table!

Don't do that - HMRC will be looking for their cut ;).
