Connecting XP PC to Vista PC - Username & Password required?!

Options
Hi all, I've managed to set up a network between a vista desktop and an XP laptop.

The Vista machine can see and access the files on the XP laptop, and although the XP laptop can see the Vista desktop, when I try to access the shared folder it asks for username and password.

The Vista desktop doesn't have login credentials set up though, how do I sort this?

Maybe you need to set up a safe zone (your entire LAN) with the firewall on the Vista machine.
