  • definately agree M&S non iron
I wash at mid temp and if weather allows i hang on line to dry and then straight onto hangers/otherwise onto hangers and dry in house hung from airer.
They still require ironing but it is quick and easy with minimal effort.
  • There's no such thing as a non-iron shirt if you want to look smart. Get a decent steam iron and learn to do it quickly.. or watch tv at the same time and use it as a relaxing hour

m and s by far the best -wash them with other whites on a quick wash and when done give them a good shake and hang out to dry and jobs done

i dont iron at all - life's too short

  • I used to own a truly non-iron shirt and I wore it every week to work for five years before getting fed up with wearing the same thing all the time and sending it off to the charity shop!

I wish I'd appreciated it more. As long as it was hung up when wet, you could scrunch it up all you liked and it would dry as perfect as if it had been ironed and it was impossible to crease when it was dry.

It was black, quite thick and smoothe, and interwoven somehow. I bought it in Hecht's in Washington DC in a sale in January 2001. I wish I knew who it was made by!

I'm very reluctant to buy any of the shirts listed above because some of you are suggesting that they still require minimal ironing! is this true?
  • I suppose the easiest way would be to get yourself a wife:D

Shall we start a new and much needed thread just for the boys entitled 'where to find a bargain housewife'?

I find the Ultimate Non Iron M&S shirts to work the best
  • May not be of great use but I've found that the easy care/non iron shirts from G2000 (East Asian equivalent of Zara, H&M etc.) are the best - hands down, not even close to anything else I've tried, including M&S.

Bit more useful is the tip I got once - to hang items up in the bathroom when you take a hot shower. Letting the steam and gravity do its work.
  • I can reccomend the gfildan 2000 t-shirts that shouldnt be confused with the g2000 previously mentioned on here

No such animal, they all cost you a fortune !

Stay single and use a Hooker when you don't have a current girl friend, works out much cheaper and this is a money saving web site .
