I really don't like Asda's beans. I agree their biscuits are nice (but no jaffa cake seems to match mcvities lol) Also Tesco value chicken noodles are way better than Morrisons and Asda.Everything is always better after a cup of tea0

I think that of all the 'value' ranges, Sainsburys Basics is the best by far.Not Buying It 2015

I think most of the no frills brands are pretty similar to be honest; though it tends to be a bit of a compromise between being good, being cheap and having it in stock which seems to be a bit of an issue when it comes to lots of the no frills brands.
Generally I would say that Asda Smartprice is generally pretty good for quality / price / avaliability, in that its generally pretty good stuff, cheap enough to make it worth buying and there's enough avaliable and enough of a range of products to fit most of your needs.
One of the main benefits of asda, though i don't know about the others is when you buy over the internet they also have a policy of upgrading you for free if they don't have it in stock which can work pretty well, especially if you're stocking up ( I'm still using the loads of fancy loo roll for the same price as bog standard a while back thanks to that policy!)0 -
I've found the Tesco Everyday Value range to be good. Almost everything I buy now is EV. Works out cheaper than Aldi I've found. I shop online too and Tesco will also upgrade for free if the item is out of stock.0

As this thread has dropped down the Old Style board I've moved it over to the Grocery Shopping board to see if you can get more replies.
