Ebay not as described

Hi, I have just received a horse rug bought from a private seller via ebay auction. It was described as in good condition and with no rips or tears.
For the non-horsey amongst you, think of this as a waterproof winter coat.
On receipt I found that the rug has 4 very large patches on the front where it has been repaired after serious damage (looks like the horse ripped the front fastenings off any they've been repaired), it has several rips in the lining and the strap across the rear of the rug has been replaced with a bit of string.
I have contacted the seller who says that in their opinion the rug is in good condition and has no rips in the outer, that they didn't say anything about patches or the missing back strap. They've offered to refund £10 as good will.
I'd rather have my money back to spend on an undamaged specimen,
I paid £30, plus £12p&p and it would probably cost me £10 to post the rug back to them. I expect ebay/paypal will probably side with me on this (eventually) but will I just get a refund of the purchase price or all of the costs involved?
Thanks.

You will get a full refund, including P+P payed...but, the cost of returning it will usually end up being payed by you and is rarely refunded.
I think it's possible to get return postage payed back to you if they are a business seller. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
Lol, doubt horse will care but I mind, I am replacing my current damaged rugs with newer ones, mine are in a better state than this!
Thanks for answer, ridiculous that I will end up out of pocket when a seller has lied about an item.0 -
If they have 100 percent feedback then neg them stating they refused to pay return postage. They can then refund the postage and ask you to remove the neg.0
