Time To Change My Buildings/Contents Insurance - Any Offers Out There?

Time to change my insurance. Any good deals or offers going out there? Have used the search facilities (moneysupermarket etc) but once you get redirected to your choice the price is much higher? Am currently with Barclays and they won't reduce my premiums of price match any so time to move on.

I would suggest you do many quotes online, using the likes on confused.com or moneysupermarket.

Once you find a decent price - get on to Quidco and see who offers the best cash back.

I know there are a few that offer £120 per policy

    Hope that helps

  • I used the search engines and found the prices the same for the ones I checked. Obviously though they go up if you then choose a lower excess or add extras.

I went with The Post Office who as well as being competitive are offering £50 cashback until the end of April.

Am also considering them for car insurance as again they come out well.

Suggest that you go through Quidco - there are some excellent cashback deals on there. Even if you stuck with Barclays you could get £125 cashback (or could get 2 x £125 if you split buildings and contents and buy separately, remembering to clear cookies etc between orders).
