Electric use...Help please
Comments
-
0.18kw. It'll use about 1 unit in 5.5 hours. However, if the item is thermostically controlled such as a slow cooker that will be the maximum it will use on the highest setting. On the lowest setting the power usage drops. Can i have some advice please?
If an electric items power input is 180w, How many units of electric will it use an hour?
Im clueless.:footie:
Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)
Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money.

In addition.
The fact something has '180W' on the back does not mean it'll use that under all conditions.
The figure is generally a maximum.
For example, my laptop power supply says 120W, in realitiy, even charging, it doesn't go over 70.
I would strongly recommend everyone get one of these:

This will let you know what an appliance actually uses.0 -
