Hi
Just wanted to know how many people have successfully been reimbursed from egg for ppi on loans entered into an iva. My agreement shows i didn't tick or sign for ppi and it was added without knowledge or consent but I think they will offset. I know of two people on here who received full redress despite it going into an iva so wondering if egg are not offsetting and I may be lucky.0 -
Hi I wonder if someone can help?
I got myself in a a bit of a mess and I ended up going into an Iva.
I made all payments up to date and i finished the last payment in April this year.
While I was waiting for my Iva to complete, in May I decided to make a claim for PPI off Lloyds bank, they agreed i was miss sold and have since paid me money i was owed i used this to pay off someone i had borrowed money off and i am all straight now but I am now in a right mess again because I have since had a declaration to sign from my Ip stating I have never claimed any PPi and would not make a claims in the future......
I didn't see i was doing anything wrong if i have, the whole ppi thing only came into play 3.5 years into my Iva and is this really a windfall surely its money I have paid out that belongs to me please help
what do i do ??0 -
I think if u have received your certificate of completion before u made the claim you can.keep it, if as u say it wasn't fully completed may have to give it to your IP.0

i havn't received my cert. as for giving it them back i have had to pay some people i owed money to :-(0

I think you need to be really careful and seek professional advice. It is classed as a windfall and therefore should have been paid to your IP to share amongst creditors. DunstonH may be able to help you more...you will find him in the general ppi forum thread0

If you haven't received your certificate, it may mean they can fail your iva or extend it for a year... You will have to be honest.0
