Is this problem due to the wallpaper?

I've just finished wallpapering my bedroom, actually put the last length on on Saturday. The room has 4 big metal ceiling spot lights, and on Saturday I noticed 3 of them were dripping with water and the ceiling around these 3 lights was damp, the window, which was closed, was also running with water. I switched on the heating and within a couple of hours the water and damp patches had gone. I opened the window on Saturday night to see if this made a difference but the same thing happened on Sunday.
I think this had happened before but I'd not seen the water dripping on the lights as the heating must have dried it before I saw it. Do you think it's caused by the wallpaper drying out?

The obvious question to ask would be whats above the ceiling and could anything be dripping through?frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I very much doubt it, can you unscrew or pop out the light (with electric off) and see what's behind it. It does sound like a leak of some sort.0

The loft is above the ceiling, I went outside and looked at the roof and all roof tiles are intact. I've just had some electrical work done and he had to go in the loft but he was nowhere near 2 of the damp patches and he didn't say there were any leaks.0 -

Even if I was able to pop out the light there's no way I would do that....I'm terrified of spiders!!
Anyway, problem seems to have solved itself, when I got home from work yesterday the windows were clear, although there was a little puddle on the window sill and the lights were dry and no damp patches.0 -
Sounds like it could be condensation from the paste drying out. The moisture has to go somewhere and it could have condensed onto the metal casing of the lights. If it has stopped happening then it is probably because the paper is now fully dried out BUT if in any doubt get it checked out by an electrician.:hello:  please play nicely children !0

I didn't see any condensation on the lights before I redecorated and there was only ever a bit of condensation on the windows, so I think it is the paste drying out. I'll have to see what it's like on Saturday morning before I put the heating on, I can't check it in the morning during the week because it's dark when I go to work and if I put the lights on I can't see if they're wet.0 -
Increase the ventilation for a couple of days to help dry it out.No free lunch, and no free laptop0
