Afternoon all
I'm looking to get a new credit card to transfer my existing balance to but have been declined by MBNA and I don't want to make too many applications as it would look bad on my credit rating.
At the moment I have - £6250 available credit (CC and Catalogue)
£3500 CC debt to be transferred
£2000 credit union loan (£1500 outstanding)
£20,500 salary (£1337 per month after tax)
I have the normal accounts on my credit rating (mobile phone, etc) which are all paid and up to date and and 1 late payment in April 2012 that was only a couple of weeks late.
Can any one suggest which card I should be applying for to have a better chance of acceptance?
Many Thanks
Bailey xx

the late payment looks like the problem0

I would recommend paying down the loan and maybe some balances then applying for a long bt card.0

My opinion is that it will delay you late payment its better to pay down payments without any risk.0
