BedzRus Return WARNING!

Tried to return two superking size beds and mattresses to BedzRus recently who intially agreed to a refund, but now will only provide one after they have assessed the beds themselves. The beds stink! They also only agreed to pick the beds up if I accepted their terms regarding the refund being based on their assessment.
I've had to organise my own collection (over £100) via a courier. They were packaged up perfectly in plastic sheeting, but now BedzRus have sent some photos of several strange stains. Because of these stainds they are not accepting a return. They have had the beds for over a week and still have not got back on the disgusting smell issue.
Can these guys actually dictate terms like this? Or am I entitled to return the beds. They cost over £1,500.
I know these stains were not on the beds when they were sent off. I am also sure they did not happen during delivery, as I helped them on board the van. The plastic wrapping is also so strong that you need a knife to get into it.
Anyway, I want to know if anyone has had any dealings with BedzRus similar to this and whether they were sent similar dodgy photos from them claiming suspected damamge being caused by those other than BedzRUs.

  • We had a bed deleivered from these cowboys this week to find it has been royally messsed up.

    Trying to send it back.

    They refuse to admit fault, refuse to send a new one with us paying for the return of the old one. They refuse to deliver a new one on a saturday. Which means we will have to take another day off to recieve a bed that we have paid to be delivered twice.
  • Hi, you say your bed delivery was "royally messed up" - can you explain in more detail?. My beds were unusable, from day one, due to the most horrendous smell both on the mattresses and divan bases - this smell was 'gut churning' and totally unaceptable - have you experienced a similar situation with your bed?.
    This Company will always refuse to accept liability, just look at other forum sites and the comments made by other purchasers to verify this as fact, the favourable forum comments have probably been put on the forum by BedzRus employees or members of the BedzRus Clan!!!. They will continually 'play for time' with promises of a refund, goods collection etc etc BUT the moment you inform them that their goods are 'shoddy' ,of sub-standard quality and not fit for purpose then they 'cut up rough' by laying down their own rules and accusing YOU the purchaser of damaging the goods - it is never their fault!!. (perish the thought!!).
    They are most certainly the absolute WORST Company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. My advice is 'cut to the chase' now, you'll get nowhere with them by talking to them or sending emails they'll just 'fob' you off with their, well used, lame and pathetic excuses. If you explain to me a little bit more about your current problem then I may be able to offer some further advice based on my own experiences with BedzRus - I have after all been fighting for my rights with them for over four months now.
