Does anyone know if you can use a VISA credit card for paying your bill off? It allows you to add it and save but not sure what happens when you try to pay the card off and input the CVV. Plus does the card issuer (in this case MBNA) class as purchase or cash?
Only doing this to maximise the cashback on each card. But don't want to do if charged at cash rate and fee.
I know Santander allow you to use a credit card to pay your bill.

Unlikely. It's not listed in their payment methods. And if it did go though, your other card provider would almost certainly class it as cash.0

Its up to your card issuer to decide what it considers their merchant ID in terms of purchase or cash advance0
