Car Insurance no Claims

Hi,
I passed my driving test last year, and bought a car in December 2011 and insured it. I would like to change my car, which will entail me getting new insurance.
Can I use any no claims bonus with it being less than a year? Or should I try to alter my current insurance?

Until the year is up you wont have any ncd, you can either change your car on the policy and possibly incur fees or wait until next month to change your car. I would be doing the latter.

Phone your insurance up and ask them how much to change details to the other car.
It maybe very expensive so ask 1st. If you cancel the policy early you dont get the no claims for the months so far.
Only full years count.

If its too dear then wait until the renewal and swap cars on that day.

All insurers charge an admin fee as well as any increase in premium for the new car.

But with 1 years no claims your going to see better prices. So maybe wait?
