Misleading Email Settings - EDF

Hate how many companies make their marketing settings intentionally misleading. If this isn't intentional and an attempt to trick people into agreeing for their details to be sold on, it is awful, awful form design.

Asking me to tick a box - that is already ticked by default - not to receive email spam from anyone and everyone. A tick is a yes, an affirmative. Putting it next to 'Communications from third parties' should mean you are agreeing to that option. I shouldn't have to decode EDF's "Yes, we have no bananas" nonsense to protect my email address.

If I've previously selected I don't want my details used like this, leave them unticked. How hard can it be?
