Very cold kitchen

House is lovely and warm apart from the kitchen which is freezing.
The high air circulation is ironically (probably) a good thing considering the humidity created when cooking.
However all other times the gaps under the cabinets are leaking out cold air, lots in some places like the sink caninet and built in dishwasher.
I think it is because there is no skirting underneath the cabs and there is a gap underneath the plasterboard letting in cold air from the cavity.
Today I tried laying some pipe insulation up to this air gap and put some bubble wrap under the cabs too but it's not helped much. So I hope it's because the gap isn't plugged and air is still leaking upwards over the pipe and bubble wrap as it isn't tight enough to the wall maybe?
Should I try plugging the gap with bubble wrap? Or might it be something else ?
Thanks

Funnily enough I have the same problem - which is that under the cabinets is bare floorboards. Cold air from under the house is blowing up through the gaps in the floorboards and out into the kitchen. Something I didn't think about when I installed it all. This week I'll have the panels off at the bottom of the cabinets (they pull off as yours should) and lay some insulation over the bare floor to stop this.0

I put foam in the air gap today, hopefully it will be ok.
I did think getting some basic loft insulation too. I will try laying that.
Since foaming the gap and putting som bubbl wrap over it the cold air flow is defiantly reduced.0
