I have been after a food mixer for ages without breaking the bank went to a car boot today bought a Breville mixer from an older lady having a clear out as down sizing. It was still in box, all instructions and all parts included as if new. She said she'd used a few times but liked to make cakes by hand so just stored it I paid £8 - price on it from 6 yrs ago was £57 - it is like new - so happy :j
Made we wonder what has anyone else bought from a boot they been childishly excited over no matter how stupid lol:D

I was looking for a particular book - one of the Narnia ones IIRC.
I walked over to the first stall and saw it sitting there for 10p.

I had wanted a mini fridge for a while but couldn't justify the cost of spending 20-30 on a nice pink one.
Went to a car boot, and saw one on a table...went up fully intending to pay between 5-10 for it...asked how much and they said £1.50! I was very pleased. :T0
