Kaseya Agent??

Kaseya Agent has just appeared on my home PC and I have not installed it. I am a bit concerned as according to what i have read, it gives people the ability to log on to your PC (meant to be used for them to fix problems on your machine).

Has anyone heard of this and how it could have come to be on my PC? Iv had this PC for about 3-4 years and its never been there before.

thank you for that ... but how can I find out how it appeared on my PC as thats more what my concern is.

does it appear in control panel, programs? with a date? if not look at the date on the kaseya folders in explorer

anyone else use the machine? work machine or personal?

any phone calls from people pretending to be microsoft?

It was likely installed by your IT person. Go to Add/Remove programs and uninstall it. Next to the Kaseya Agent, you may see the name of the server it is checking into. This may give you a clue.

If you want to post the server name I can try to help you find it.
