What size? Since cheap £40 - £50 tablets have arrived on the scene, I think the market for 'not too expensive' digital photo frames has disappeared.
What was your budget?0 -
Its a birthday present, so was thinking around £20.00
I guess there way out of my price range.

Can pick them up for about £25 from likes of currys, argos and so on. The pretty much do the same thing.
most will take usb flash drive, sd card and some micro sd.Mansion TV. Avoid at all cost's :j0 -
Can I just add if you don't mind does anyone know one that takes batteries and doesn't need to be plugged in? I bought one for work and mucked it up by getting one that needs to be plugged in.....:T (sarcastic clap)0

A while back, at a computer fair, I bought a Photo Framce made by Elonex (a company that had just gone bankrupt) for sale in "Next" shops. I found it hard to believe what it was claimed to do for the price, but took a punt anyway. Turned out to be brilliant. Not just a 7" photo frame, it was actually a 7" DVB TV as well! I note that Morgan Computers are curently selling factory refurbished versions of the same frame for £40, with a 3 month warranty, as well as three or four more basic models at around £15 each). http://www.morgancomputers.co.uk/product_detail/13458/Elonex-7-LCD-Digital-Photo-Frame-Clock-Calendar-and-Digital-Freeview-TV/0

Such a gadget would positively EAT batteries; closest gadget I can think of would be a CHEAP Android tablet, which contains a flat, slim Lithium rechargeable battery, and would give a few hours of display between needing to be recharged. How many hours would depend on the quality of the tablet; a cheap one would last 3-4 hours, a better one maybe up to 12 or even 15 hours.0
