recommend me a timer socket

For electrical sockets. I've had a few over the years and the mechanical ones make a ticking noise and the electronic ones seem to last about 3 months.

  • I have half a dozen of these from John Lewis and would highly recommend.

Despite being very much a part of the digital age (and studying electronic engineering); I personally prefer the mechanical ones with the 15mins switches around the dial.

I've got a couple of electronic ones, different makes, that have lasted for years, have survived being tucked away in a drawer, unused for years, and when brought out again, work fine every time.....

what goes wrong after a few months with yours?

I've been using one like this for about 4 years & I've had no problems with it.

Depends what you want to use it with though.
