Ebay - feedback for buyers?
Comments
-
I recently had a buyer thank me for leaving feedback first - I gather it was a sore point with him.
As a seller it is my job to make the buyer completely happy with the transaction. If I leave feedback first, it costs nothing and does no harm. In fact it may even make a buyer happier. It shows that I respect and value their custom.
I also have a list of around 30 comments which I cycle through. Nothing appears more insecere than sellers leaving the same two word feedback for hundreds of buyers.0 -
Personally I find buyer feedback a bit pointless, I find myself saying the same every time 'paid swiftly' etc. and a lot of times sellers now use it as an advertisement for their items! I also don't like how it gets mixed up with seller feedback which is surely much more important. I think probably it should be abolished or separated from seller feedback.0

I always leave feedback whether I am buying or selling. As a fairly new seller, I'm getting a bit irritated by the number of buyers who don't bother to leave feedback though. I always worry that they are going to claim something hasn't arrived - although realistically, I suppose they'd do that pretty quickly!
I'm starting to think maybe I won't leave buyers feedback until they leave it for me, but that seems a bit childish . . .I want my sun-drenched, wind-swept Ingrid Bergman kiss, Not in the next life, I want it in this, I want it in this
