In addition to the above I have hoovered the kitchen, dining room and hall (DD1 is asleep in the LR she was at a 21st birthday party last night) I also defluffed the radiators in the kitchen. I now need to hoover again as it's created so much fluff and dust.

Hi there. I've not had a proper chance to post this week, as been busy with the new cat, next door's dogs, work, baking and keeping on top of the cleaning, washing and ironing, and blinking condensation in the conservatory, after all the frost we've had. Now it's tippling down, so another day of walkies in the rain - after work now.
I had a rotten migraine last night and lay down with the new puss for a couple of hours. He's settling in well and both he and our existing cat have explored each others areas and scent, and ok so far!
We hope to introduce them tomorrow, via mesh screens to begin with, but our current cat seems quite relaxed so far with the new scents.
I've kept up to date with the housework, although the dreaded clutter is building up! Magazines, junk mail and books mainly!!
Good wishes all round - and, Lamewolf, I do hope you soon feel better. Does the cold and/or damp weather make it worse? You take it steady, join me in one of those extra-large cuppas!
Well, off I go for a snack, then work! I don't want to go ..........0 -

Morning skint breeder 5 and everybody else.
I was in Mr S'bury last night and noticed that Fairy Liquitabs are half price for a box of 38 - that's £6.40 instead of £12.80, plus Fairy washing powder (10 scoop size) which is normally £4.20 have 2 for £4 - I stocked up with loads as it's the only stuff I can put on mine and DS's skin and it's rare that Fairy have offers like all the other big names.
Might be useful to you all if there is a Mr s nearby.
Seems to have been something in the air last night as I went to bed at 3am this morning as I wasn't tired before that (and also something to do with the fact that I was engrossed on another thread that had 30 pages!) but boy am I paying for it now. Must go and have a shower as I need to be in work by 10.
Hugs to Wendywitch and anybody else needed a cuddle today. Remember, the thought of doing something is always worse than the actual doing. You'll have a spring in your step on your return journey, I bet.
TMD xx
Thanks TMD! I get through an awful lot of washing, so I have cheap & nasty stuff for towels that spend less than 60 seconds on skin contact before they end back in the washing basket.:mad::mad:
And then I use Branded for the main clothes and heavily soiled stuff
Mr T does bottles of liquid called Enrituals Tranquility that I use for towels - 30 wash bottle of washing liquid £1, 30 wash bottle of conditioner £1.....both on special for 50p a bottle - bit gutted they had no washing liquid left yesterday - at that price I am not surprised, but I stocked up on 10 bottles of conditioner:D:D
They had some 20 wash bottles of Daz on special £2 instead of £4, so I relieved the shelves of 5 bottles:D:D
They are also doing boxes of Biotex for 50p each, so I bought 10 boxes ready to soak flybaby's washable nappies....so it wasn't a bad trip!
I have been like a sloth on tranquilisers this morning, although I have done a bit, so I will have a quick cuppa, catch up on the thread and then post what I have done/ not done
Big hugs for Wendywitch - stick with us, taking control back of YOUR home might just be want you need to take control back elsewhere - I am a relative newbie to this thread (this is my 4th week!) I am really surprised that my outlook has become more positive than when I first started recording my little victories on here xxxThe cold never bothered me anyway0 -

Work done, wasted 40 minutes, worked for 20 - not a good use of my time but oh well.
Just had lunch and need to go and help in DS3's class for the afternoon now.
Catch you all after school for a cuppa.
Jo - DS3 (I think is the same age as your DS) has put 3 of them on his Christmas list (and nothing else as he has had a bike this autumn as an early present) - can you give me tips on best ones? He wants one which fires disks, one which loads quickly and one which is long and accurate! I'll get one and get Grandad on the case and Nanny too.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
Good afternoon
Popped to Coop after toddler group, then came home and put beef casserole in the SC. I had planned to do earlier so it was ready for tonights dinner, but forgot all about it (doh!). They will have to have it tomorrow now (usually feed them about 4pm) . I have got some bolognaise (I think) out of the freezer, so they can have that instead
DD2 had walked the dog when i got in :T one less thing to worry about. Miss T & I have had lunch. I am having a cuppa, then I will take DD2 to school, as my part of the bargain
I may potter about a bit while Miss T is tending to the dollies.0 -
