Morning all
Anyone want to join me in a HHC at 8.15? I shall be out all day from 9.20 (voluntary work, transcribing an interview for the local history project, followed by a meeting about an art exhibition) but desperately need to achieve some flying before I go.
(((Hugs))) to all who need them. I'm sure Babymoo will enjoy having Supergran all to herself today!
Just adjusting my wings, then I'm off...........0 -
I have a feeling today's going to be a long day
The girls are already moaning at each other.
DD1 has her college work placement today but she's not enjoying it as much as she thought she would and went to bed feeling ill last night so she's on a go slow this morning.
DD2 never wants to go to school :rotfl:
I'm waiting for them both to go then I'm going to have a nice, long bath.
I'm waiting for a text from the new ex boyfriendish so I can go and collect some stuff from there. Thanks to a so-called friend he's go all cold on me but hasn't had the b*lls to end it:mad: so I'm just going to make it easy for him and walk away.
It's a shame cos for the first time in a long time I found someone who ticked all the right boxes.
So in the last week I've now lost someone I'd thought was a good friend and a boyfriend which included his lovely son
There's lots on the jobs list but cos I'm fretting over going to his I doubt much will get done before hand and I know I'll be upset when I get back . . .

Good morning
(((hugs))) Wendywitch
I have had breakfast, hoovered up the bicarb in the 2 smelly patches. They still smell - may need more applicationsBank accounts & emails checked. Miss T is here (watching Tweenies before we go out). Her Mum assures me that she was de-nitted last night!
Ok - toddler group, then pop into Coop for some bits. Not sure when the dog will be walked. I have suggested to DD2 that she walks him. She doesn't have to be in school til lunchtime (1.15), so I may bribe her with a lift to school. i may potter in the LR/DR this afternoon, when Miss T is chilling. Then all hell breaks loose after school when i have 5 of the little darlings, and I have to multi task as referee & cook0 -
In my HHC I managed to
- put away all the folded clean washing and ironing that I did last night (still more ironing to be done this evening)
- made our bed
- tidied away/hung up clothes on chairs
- did an extra good S&S of our bathroom (not the floor, but everything else)
- started DW and washed up everything else that didn't fit in it
- emptied dry bins
- cleaned sink
- wiped down work surfaces, tidying as I went
- cleared kitchen table
In the next 20 min I plan to
- tidy utility room
- tidy lounge incl. sofa covers which DH somehow manages to twist round the cushions so that the corners no longer line up!
- tidy my desk
- feed the birds
- empty compost bin
- add 2 items that I've thought of to my birthday/Christmas wish list
- get ready to go out and catch the first bus after 9.30 so that I can use my bus pass.
See you later!0 -
Morning, managed kitchen floor and windowsill and putting stuff away yesterday as well as a load of ironing. So felt quite smug at the end of the day. May not seem much, but for someone as demotivated as me, this is great!
Aims today are (as suggested) the living room floor and coffee table and probably not much more as need to work from home this morning and out at work this afternoon. Probably won't be back until quite late.

Really didn't mean to get on here quite so late! One hospital appointment down, 2 to go.....a trip to Mr T's for some more washing powder & a teeny bit of shopping.....electric was still off for a lot of the day, still have traffic lights outside as they haven't repaired the road yet
Morning skint breeder 5 and everybody else.
I was in Mr S'bury last night and noticed that Fairy Liquitabs are half price for a box of 38 - that's £6.40 instead of £12.80, plus Fairy washing powder (10 scoop size) which is normally £4.20 have 2 for £4 - I stocked up with loads as it's the only stuff I can put on mine and DS's skin and it's rare that Fairy have offers like all the other big names.
Might be useful to you all if there is a Mr s nearby.
Seems to have been something in the air last night as I went to bed at 3am this morning as I wasn't tired before that (and also something to do with the fact that I was engrossed on another thread that had 30 pages!) but boy am I paying for it now. Must go and have a shower as I need to be in work by 10.
Hugs to Wendywitch and anybody else needed a cuddle today. Remember, the thought of doing something is always worse than the actual doing. You'll have a spring in your step on your return journey, I bet.
