It's an ok start. To be average you will need to have saved 27k and bought your sister a mink coat by the time you are 22.

I've been at the job for 2 years but the first year I was on 180 a week. So I couldn't really save from that was scrapping through
Now earn 1200 a month. Been earning that for about 8 or 9 months
300 car
100 rent
100 petrol
Food about 200
Also like gambling. Stopped now just focused on saving

When I was 21 I preferred a social life to £300 a month on a car and obsessive saving. Takes all sorts0 -
My social life ain't too bad. But I understand what your saying. Maybe I should just chill out and enjoy life at this age :beer:0

I don't know if this would be the right place to ask but what would be the minimum you would need to buy stock or start a portfolio?
