Excel Telemedia Target Thread

Not sure if this will be allowed so mods please feel free to delete!

I have worked for Excel Telemedia for 12 months now just on the text chat and I have found it to be quite a good way of boosting income. The most I have ever earned was 30.00 in one month however as I'm a busy working mum of two I consider that to be quite good and for someone who is single and willing to put in the hours on a night and into the early hours they can earn alot more! And my way of thinking is that 30 pounds paid one of my bills.

I wanted to set up a thread for members of Excel to post their targets for the month and post back with the amount earned.

So far from 3rd September to today I have earned 10.80. Only been working in dribs and drabs so I'm quite happy with that.

My target to reach for the next pay date is 30.00.

I notice the website says you have to log on for 10 hours per week - is this right?

Hi I don't think I have ever done more than 10 hours a week and have still been paid as normal.

I have worked for Excel for quite a few years now and have alway found them to be really good, until recently. They have had a change of staff in the office and there is one person who is [text deleted by MSE Forum Team] making life difficult for everyone. We are now being penalised if we are on the phone and a customer try's to contact you, the system registers this as a missed call and if you get too many of them they will terminate your contract. So if you are busy working and you are popular and other try and contact you, you will be at risk of having your contract terminated !!!!!! they have also introduced that you must be busy for 30% of the time you are logged on. This purely depends on their advertising and how effective it is to get you the calls, if you are not busy again they will terminate your contract. If you are on a call and you miss three others trying to contact you then they freeze your line and you don't receive any calls, when you realise you have to call them to have your line freed up. As i said I have worked for them for ages and it only seems to be since [the change of staff: text modified by MSE Forum Team] that we are experiencing problems. Perhaps she should have a few days working on the lines to see what its like. Too much treatment like this and people will walk and then she will have to work on line. Hope someone from Excel management reads this and gets something done. I am more than happy to have my performance looked at but not in January when everyone is looking at what they spend !!!! More business accumen needed and a bit less of the big brother Excel !!!!

I have PSO experience but would love to get into the text chat side of things. I've been looking for good companies to apply to does anyone know of any? Is Excel Telemedia taxing on at the moment?

Also with MSN messenger soon to stop operating and going over to Skype I'd be interested in finding out what messenger service everyone is using for their texting work?

It looks like you can apply on their site
  • Seems they're not recruiting at the moment :(
Anyone know of any other legitimate sites like this which employ people for text chat?
  • Most phone line work insists that you are free to take a call the instant it happens and will log you off or cancel your contract if you do not. They have to use computers which are very expensive, and they lose the call if it does not go through, which is also very expensive. You have to get a second line which you will answer instantly if you want to be sure of getting the work and do things their way, they pay your wages and they are being sensible! They are running the business to make money and they
invest a lot of money to do this, it is not a way for you to earn money having the occasional chat when you are not too busy chatting to a friend. If you use the call waiting system that is not going to work with their systems either.
  • Usually text chat work is received on the computer and you have to be sitting at the computer and reply instantly. Are you sure this suits you? You cannot be out shopping or busy with something. You have to be sitting there ready and indoors.
And very few guys are into sex chat so you could wait for days for one text. You will only get a few pence for that text.
