musical keyboard advice

I want to get my son a musical keyboard to xmas I need some advice if you guys can help, I want to get him one were I can download songs onto it for him and have light up keys , anybody recommend some

    Your choice is a Casio or a Yamaha and at the cheaper end Yamaha is always going to win for sound.

    The Yamaha EZ220 seems like a reasonable choice which comes with the education suite. I assume you can download additional songs and midi files.

    the ez220 is what I had in mind but need to find out for defo if I can download midi files for it

    I believe you can't load midi files into the keyboard but would have to play them from a computer connected to the keyboard via usb.
