Changing supplier and meter
Hi, I want to change my prepayment meter to a normal electric meter but southern electric have said it will cost £60. I had a look around and if I stayed on a prepayment Eon are cheaper at the moment. How do I go about asking to have a different meter installed and get a new supplier without it costing me too much?

Ask another supplier if they will fit a credit meter for free if you switch to them. Quite a few will.
£50 is the going rate if they do charge. No free lunch, and no free laptop
