I have purchased an Alba 32 in tv.Everything is fine except when we have football on sky sports,in the top left hand corner you can't see the score.(its gone off screen). We can see how many minutes have been played but not the score. We have pressed the screen button on remote, and put on panoramic,we can move it so the time goes down but cant move it across so you can see the score.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

it sounds like its in zoom mode, try pressing the aspect ratio button until it says 16:9, dont use auto as it isnt always reliable.
Are you connecting via a scart cable? If so switch scart control off in the sky box settings, this will stop the tv trying to resize the screen based on a voltage output from the sky box which can often be unreliable on older boxes.
Also make sure the sky box is outputting in 16:9 in the sky video settings.0 -
basically do the exact opposite of the above, DO put it in auto so it auto switches then the picture will always appear correctly on the screen. On 16-9 it will stretch 4-3 programs and some programs are shown in 14-9 and 2.35-1. Connect by HDMI if possible.4kWp, South facing, 16 x phono solar panels, Solis inverter, Lincolnshire.0

Check the virgin box is set to output to a 16:9 TV and then set the TV to auto.0
