Wanted to take our car through the car wash but couldn't get the aerial off when it came to go through and didn't want to risk it snapping off.. can anyone give me any advice? It's a Rover 25....

I'd have a read of the signs on the carwash, I know one of our local ones at a BP garage explicitly states not to take a certain Rover model through it, could well be the 25
wash by hand yourself or gto a hand car wash place, or a garage with the jetwash facilities may be your best bet0 -

Because of the spoiler type thing on the top of the back window. They said that sometimes the brushes can flip it off. you know the black thing that is more of an extension of the roof.0

We lost the clio aerial last weekend. My Pops tried to do a good turn taking it through the car wash. Sigh0

Seriously? Took ours through yesterday and it was fine? Surely the sensors would make the machine realise it was there??Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043
