Sorting through my cleaning cupboard and i'm in need of a homemade recipe for a bath/sink cleaner.
I'd like something that i can mix in a spray bottle so it's quick and easy to use.
Hoping for it to work on the usual grime and if possible limescale as have a leaky tap!
TIA

White vonegar is the magic ingredient. It will remove limescale (I keep a bottle under the kitchen sink and once in a while I just pour it inside my kettle to clean the inside, takes around 30 minutes - then I strain it through a sieve and pour back in the bottle for next time (6-8 times of use before it gets tired) once a month and my kettle remains furr-free. I would try it neat with an old toothbrush to clean the taps (it might take a few goes if it is really crusty).
Mixed with baking soda (powder) it will foam to unplug shower drains and clear the yuk off the inside of the toilet bowl. Once you start diluting it into a spray it becomes less effective but with a squirt of washing up liquid, a few drops of essential oils (something you like) and water, it will work on mirrors, glass shower screens and general surfaces.
Baking soda is marvellous on dirty grout too.
