No he is using a pc but remember he had the virus and IE will not work properly since and takes almost 10 minutes to load a page???

We never actually finished cleaning it as you said you were going to restore/reinstall the OS? Did you not do that?

There is a thread about what I did but I wonder if I unistalled and reinstalled IE would it work properly then again?

Not as far as I remember, I couldn't get a back up of his pc because the external drive wasn't supposed to be working properly! I need to get the time to get him a new external drive, any suggestions?
