my hubby is a manager at nandos middlebrook
just rang him and he confirms that this is not is all stores

in fact the stores that have got them are in for a major kicking apparently because the management have took it upon themselves to do this which is not the 'nandos brand'

oops may just have got someone in trouble :O

i spoke to your hubby then!! :). i rang the locals, bolton, manchester, liverpool....none of them had a clue.

Had a look in the Notts store last night but they didn't have any
  • Hi if anyone uses Costco they were selling 3 bottles of nandos table sauces for about 3 pounds - you get chillie, tomato and BBQ nandos ketchup sauces. You could get an orange mixing bowl ( bnm bargains or home bargains have them) and a couple of the nandos rubs ( I think these are a pound a sachet) and make something similar to this? Bit more hassle but is cheaper than the sets ive seen in the shops. Hth X

That would be rather silly of them. At least this "thinking outside the box" is getting customers into the restaurants & spending more money. The 1/4 chicken isnt costing them money either as it encourages customers back for an extra visit & will more likely spend money on extras like olives etc.

Its much better than those other nandos gift sets in the likes of boots & sainsburys which are usually reduced after xmas anyway because their overpriced.

i also think you are right but the brand does not allow any promos or discounts on any of its products

the only offer they do is their loyalty card

it is one of the very few places that do not do money off coupons etc

this has been seen as a making a loss as the value out-strips its cost

although i do like u say think they should be given a pat on the back and have this go in every store :T
  • Sainsbury's currently have a couple of Nandos small giftsets with a third off. I saw it in my local store this morning, but they've not yet got the images online. They have a dipping set with a couple of sauces & a small bowl for £5.99 (down from £9) and a small salsa jar (3.99 from £6), along with some other small bits. Probably best to look in your local store before buying online with no pics. :)

Costco also sometimes has packs of Nando Peri Peri salsa and Perinaise - usually 2 pots of the salsa and 1 pot of the Perinaise for about £3-£3.50. They also normally have 1 litre bottles of Peri Peri sauce for £6.99 - sometimes they have the medium, sometimes the hot, sometimes both. Boots are currently selling the 1 litre bottle for £15...

They haven't got any(and no plans to do them) in my local Southend On Sea.
Shame because i would have got one or two as they would make great presents.. I was told i can buy them all individually if i wanted to.
  • Is there a list of participating branches somewhere? Looks like a good gift idea.

    Thanks OP.
