FireFox - tabs add on?

I had an add on with firefox before i formatted my HDD & i can't remember what it was.
Basically, i don't like the way firefox opens new tabs by default - putting them after the first tab some times when i always like the next opened tab to be at the very end of the row.
How do i sort this?
