Has Scottish Power Prepay Electric gone up by 30 percent

  • Thanks to all for your time and comments. I only came on here trying to get clarification on Scottish Powers electric price increase, basically because I though the new day unit numbers might even be a typo. If I'd known it was going to turn into a forensic dissection of my electric habits instead I'm not sure I would've bothered as it's not really the point of what I was asking. The fact is that Scottish Power have used smoke and mirrors, as notbritishgas rightly put it, to put my electric prices up by more than the average 8.56% they state on their site. I will not be using any extra electricity and I will be paying roughly 23% more for it than I do now. That's all there is to it and it's tough noogies.
