Removing mould

I onder if anybody can help me. I have stored some seat belts in my garage. i thought that the bag round them was tight, but obviously not. They have got mould stains on them. I have washed them at 60 degrees but thy still have the mould spots on them. Does anybody know of any way to remove this. They are brand new and just seems a waste to throw away ?????

have you tried soaking them in soda crystals or getting a scrubbing brush and giving them a good scrub. think mould is quite hard to get rid of. good luck

I also have this problem with the interior of my car, there was a seal that was obviously leaking and now I have mould. Tried scrubbing hard with carpet cleaner but there's still mould spots.

you can get a mould and fungus spray from wilkinsons about
£ 1-50 you have to spray it on and leave it don't wipe it off

Dilute solution of bleach will also work a treat on mould.

I used to use bleach, but I bought some 'Astonish' mould remover and it's much better. Worked on condensation mould and even cleaned the weed and build-up off the underside of my boat!!!
paid 99p for it in a local store. Much better than bleach.
