Thanks PAP, I have it bookmarked to have a proper read through once I'm on maternity leave :) Have done very well on the MSE baby front so far - been given lots of things and not paid full price for anything yet :money:
  • :j Thats good, have you signed up to the baby clubs yet? I believe that the sooner you sign up the more vouchers/freebies you get. Are you having a baby shower? Do you need anything specific or are you waiting until the baby is here to see what you need?

Not long till maternity leave now :D

I've done Actimel, Cow & Gate, Boots, Asda and Tesco so far - lots of freebies there. Got to pick up my Emma's Diary packs tomorrow - they are like Bounty packs, lots of vouchers and stuff there.

We had a baby shower at 13 weeks because my friend wanted to make me a gender reveal cake. OH found out the gender at the scan and told her so she could make me a coloured cake :D It was great!

Four weeks left of work :D Have two weeks off, then working a week on, week off until I finish so I can get my degree work finished off!
  • Obviously I don't know how you are wishing to raise your child but here are a few more ;)

Heinz, Toys r us, HIPP, Sanisbury, Huggies, mothercare, tommeetippee.

Oh how amazing! So I am guessing you got given quite a few gifts etc. Alwasy nice when you hae to pay for the larger stuff. Is there anything you need that you havn't yet purchased?

That has flown by! Its all exciting eh?

You're a star PAP! :D It's very exciting but also quite scary! We haven't bought any feeding stuff yet, going to see if I can BF first so can't really decide what we'll need in terms of bottles/pumps all that jazz until she's here! Apart from that, I think we're nearly set.

Money wise... I've been offered a BT deal on one of the CCs and they've put the credit limit up so that's some much needed breathing space for six months at 0% :T …So CC1 and CC2 are now £2k exactly and there's a bit on CC3 now from some overspending but that's been addressed and is now 0%

CC2 have responded today by sending me an offer for a year at 0%! :T :T So thinking of paying off the £2k with my student money next month, then transferring card CC1 - so all debt will be 0%.
We'll just have to be super frugal to live without the student money over the next few months, but that should be easier not having much to pay on the CCs. Does this seem like a good plan? It works out to about £300 a month which is about what we've been paying off the cards anyway.

Well just need a safe and easy delivery now ;)

Thats great Spark's debt at 0% is way better than debt at X% as you well know. £300 is a huge amount to service the debt too :T

    BTW - hope this helps!
