How big and heavy is the parcel? Is it going within the UK or International?

Without that information the answer would be: yes you can take it to the post office, whether they will be able to send it somewhere is anyone's guess!

We need more details but if it is postable it will be more expensive via the PO, much cheaper to use another service e.g. Parcel2Go

Do you mean, will a village/local post office refuse a certain size of parcel and make you go to a main post office.

Don't think so (don't live in a village so not 100% sure).
