G9 LED bulbs?

Does anyone have any recommendations of good G9 LED bulbs that are equivalent, or close to, the light that is given out by the halogen ones

I'm tempted by the fact the LEDS are about 1 or 2 w compared to 50 W for halogen bulbs, but so far not found the right one - the bulbs either look ugly, light is too cold (bluish) or not wide enough angle.

Dont get cold light - get warm light. LEDs with that are no different from halogens.

Wattage means nothing - its leumens that count - and projection width. You need a minimum of 370 Leumins and a wide angle to match halogens. They are available though. Generally 4 or 5W though. The 3w ones arnt up to it.

I got some next gen 5w, warm light, wide angle LEDs and if anything their brighter than the 50w hals they replaced. Light is pleasing and warm. there not cheap though at £10 each. Older generation LEDs are not up to the job apart from mood lighting.

Yes definitely want warm white but the last ones I bought weren't warm enough.

What make have you found to be good ones?

These are about the best you can get at present in a G9 format, 320 Leumens which is higher than most (normally around 270) but due to the arrangement of the LEDs give a high viewable angle. That makes up for the 50 Luemens or so less output compared to Halogens:
