Best flooring type for uneven surface

My concrete floor is not flat. There are a couple of small bumps, but it's also wavy - it goes up and down a few mm over the course of a metre here and there. Does this affect my choice of wood/laminate flooring? Is there one type which would be better or worse in this situation.
Thanks

I saw a post on here a while ago about this new fancy "lino" style floor covering that looked very realistic (much nicer and more realistic than laminate.) It was available in wood, stone and other designs - can't remember the name now though (but will bookmark when I find it - looked like great stuff.)0

Use the thicker underlay - the sort that looks like large green felt type pads about 1m x 1/2m and about 5mm thick and comes in packs. This should absorb any discrepencies up to a few mm and allow any type of wooden or laminate flooring with no problem.

It does'nt sound like too much variance that a underlay wouldn't account for, but it its proving an issue you can screed the floor using a self levelling compound which will even it out.0

That.
Ours is uneven, and were having stone tiles which need a flat base. Were having it levelled first and its really not expensive. Having said that were not DIYing so the installer are there to lay the floor and fit kitchen anyway. It would be less cost effective if you need someone to come in specifically.0
