Faulty Washing Machine No Refund No Exchange

Another heated argument over the phone later and the main chap, lets call him Tim, has decided he's coming to my property to see the machine himself.

Tim seems to think just taking the machine back is a waste of time because he is sure he will not find anything wrong with it.

He tried writing the p*ssing issue off as maybe the "waste is to low". What on god's green earth does that mean?
Does it mean the height of the wastage pipe? No, thats fine, its been fine for 2 weeks!
Is it the filters? There is none to clean/remove, its been fine for 2 weeks!

I've checked the manual (I'll include here when I find it again) and there is not much else to say about it.

I have no confidence that Tim will turn up when he says he will.

After a long overdue update, the news is...


He never did show up.

I gave up trying to contact him.

And now the machine is sitting in my garage not doing much at all. I found another washing machine in the meantime and no idea what to do with this old one.

Still wondering whether I should be contacting Trading Standards about it.
