Roboform - what would we do without it!

I entered the comp to win a kindle on the AICR site earlier http://www.aicr.org.uk/Competition.aspx?source=nov12compmailshot but after using Roboform to fill in my details and pressing 'submit', I got this message :

* Some autofills may conflict with the spam measures we have on this page. If you encounter a problem, please manually enter your details. **

So they could obviously block Roboform users!!!! So I had to type my details in for my entry to go through! :( I just hope and pray sites don't start using similar software to block Roboform! OMG Imagine if they did - we would be lost :eek::eek:
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

I could not be without Roboform, it remembers all my passwords & usernames, and is a godsend for the mag dailies where it fills in all the no boxes xx
I love this board, have "virtually" met so many lovely people, people I am honoured to count as friends.

I don't think you can get it on the free version (but I may be wrong). Have been paying for it since August 2011 this year was $19.99 not sure what the exchange rate is to £'s but am happy to pay as I feel it is worth it, but it may not be for everyone xx

I think Roboform is free for a trial then it only costs around £10 - but sooooo well worth it!!! Yes, it remembers all my passwords for all the sites and fills out just about every form for me. I would seriously die if sites start blocking it!

I use LastPass which is free, it fills forms, saves Log Ins, Logs you in automatically and even generates passwords.

  • I dont use roboform and never have. I did look into it, but Im not paying for a service to fill out a form for me (I know its free for a bit, but Im not prepared to get used to it and have to live without it :rotfl:)

I did download lastpass, but haven't managed to do anything with it. Not sure what I need to do now, but Ive not had time to look at it. Im not busy today at all so might have a look later.

But for now I fill out my forms manually , most of the time it remembers my info and its quick, but I am a fast touch typer so its not a problem to fill out manually anyway.

I could not be without Roboform. I dread to think how many competitions I would enter if I did not have Roboform. Only bad point about is that I have become dependant on it for my login data, so when I am trying to log in to anything from another pc I am stuck as Roboform is on my laptop. Only nagative about it, but that coudl have been resolved if I was not such a cheap skate and bought the one where you could use it anywhere :(
:j BIG THANKS TO ALL COMP POSTERS, MUCH APPRECIATED :j

Same as zombieslayer, never used and probably won't ever use. Doesn't take many more seconds to type stuff in anyway.

If I am using laptop instead of iPad, I type regular details (name, address, phone, email) onto a sheet and then just copy and paste.
